Hurdles being removed for Amaravati Metrol Rail project

Hyderabad, Oct 19: The Andhra Pradesh government is removing the various hurdles for the Amaravati Metro Rail Corporation (AMRC) project one by one. In this connection, the state government has issued directions to the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation to pool at least 50 acres of land in the initial phase and hand it over to AMRC. At the same time, the state government requested the officials of the Delhi Metrol Rail to submit a proposal on the ways to improving the benefits on the project investments. It may be recalled that the central government had listed out some conditions for giving permission for the Amaravati Metro Rail project that covers 26 km in the capital region.
