We are fulfilling bifurcation promises one by one: Venkaiah

Hyderabad, Oct 14: Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu today said that there is no need for the opposition to stage protests on the issue of promises made to Andhra Pradesh at the time of bifurcation. Speaking to media this morning in New Delhi, the minister said the centre is fulfilling all the promises made at the time of state bifurcation one by one. He questioned Congress leaders, who did not do any work for 35 years, for raising their voices now. Stating that their was no need to cast aspirations on the centre, Venkaiah said even before the state government prepared the plans for the capital city the central government released funds of over Rs 1,000 crores for the purpose.
