Setting aside differences, Cong pledges support to Jagan's stir

Delhi, Oct 13:Congress senior leader Digvijaya Singh has said that Congress party will extend full support to YSRCP president Jaganmohan Reddy's indefinite fast for special status. Though we have differences with Jagan on various issues, Congress party would work with YSRCP to secure special status to the state, Digvijaya Singh said. He alleged that Chandrababu was trying to consolidate his power instead of making efforts to secure special status to the state. Digvijaya called upon all political parties to support the stir as Jagan is staging the protest at the expense of life. He termed Chandrababu Naidu as an expert in delivering untenable promises. It seems that KCR is ruling the state to protect the interests of his family members and the Congress party would stand by the kin of farmers who had committed suicide, he said.
