Jagan's fast: Research Scholar makes immolation bid

Tirupati, Oct 12: Various organisations are staging protests in support of Jagan's indefinite fast for special status to AP. A research scholar of Sri Venkateswara University is actively participating in the protests being held in the university in support of Jagan. Today also students boycotted classes and staged protests on the university campus. At the same the research scholar Masumaiah poured petrol all over his body and tried to set himself ablaze. Others students immediately foiled the attempt. A YSRCP woman activist Rangamma attempted suicide at Railway Kodur in Kadapa district. Depressed by the deteriorating health condition of Jagan, she consumed hair dye. Meanwhile, Jagan appealed to the people not to sacrifice their lives for special status to AP.
