Revanth alleges corruption in fine rice scheme
Hyderabad, Oct 11: TDP deputy floor leader in Telangana Assembly A Revanth Reddy has accused the TRS government of indulging in massive corruption in implementation of fine rice scheme for students.
Speaking with the reporters at NTR Trust Bhavan here, Revanth alleged that government is not supplying good quality rice under fine rice scheme.
Revanth said that inferior quality rice is milled two to three times and supplied as fine rice to hostels.
He demanded Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to order vigilance raids to determine the quality of rice being supplied to schools and hostels.
He questioned whether the Chief Minister and his family members would consume the food being served in the hostels.
