KCR in a fix over attending Amaravati foundation

Hyderabad, Oct 09: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is in dilemma over attending grand foundation-stone laying ceremony of AP capital Amaravati on October 22. According to sources, the Chief Minister is yet to make up his mind on attending the programme. KCR discussed the matter with his party colleagues but received a mixed response. While a section of the party leaders suggested that KCR's presence at the event will give the message that he is not against Andhra people, some others opined that KCR should skip the event given the historic animosity between him and Chandrababu. KCR had not entered Andhra region for over a decade. Cash-for-vote scam has further widened rift between KCR and Chandrababu. The AP government would invite 15,000 VIPs from the country as well as from abroad for the event.
