KCR exempts entertainment tax for 'Rudhramadevi'
Hyderabad, Oct 8: With less than 24 hours to go for the release of 'Rudhramadevi', the Telangana government is said to have exempted entertainment tax for the historical based on the prominent warrior queen of the Kakatiya dynasty.
The film's director Gunasekar and producer Dil Raju today called on Telangana chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao seeking an exemption in the entertainment tax.
Gunasekhar also invited KCR to watch the film. Responding to the invitation, KCR appreciated the director for making a film on the great queen of the Kakatiya dynasty.
KCR urged Gunasekar to make more such historical films. KCR then took a decision to exempt entertainment tax for 'Rudhramadevi' in the state.
