Inter student attacked with knife over cell phone theft issue

Hyderabad, Oct 8: An intermediate student of Sri Chaitanya Junior College in Visakhapatnam, identified as Girish, was today attacked with knives by a couple of inter students of the same institution on the issue of theft of a cell phone. Girish was severely injured during the attack. He has injuries on his neck, cheek and fingers of his right hand and he is undergoing treatment at a local hospital. The attackers have been identified as Manohar and Pawan. Police have taken the two into custody and are investigating the issue.
