TDP MLA Ryaga Krishnaiah arrested

Hyderabad, Oct 7: Hyderabad police this afternoon arrested Telugu Desam Party MLA Ryaga Krishnaiah, who is representing LB Nagar constituency, at Indira Park when he was leading a group of BC leaders to the Legislative Assembly. Krishnaiah was demanding that the central government should immediately present the Backward Classes Bill in the parliament. According to reports, there was mild tension when the police stopped the MLA and other BC leaders from proceeding toward the assembly. However, the police brought the situation under control and immediately shifted the legislator to the police station.
