Forest officials seize red sanders worth Rs 1.5 cr
Hyderabad, Oct 3: Officials of the Special Task Force of the Forest Department this morning seized 2.5 tonnes of red sander logs worth Rs 1.5 crore and arrested two labourers during raids near Kalyani dam in Seshachalam forest area under Chandragiri mandal of Chittoor district. The officials also seized three vehicles from the accused. The forest officials are continuing the combing operations around the Erragutta area near Kalyani dam, according to sources.
