TS may retain Anurag Sharma as DGP

Hyderabad, Oct 1: In all likelihood, the Telangana government could retain the in-charge Director General of Police Anurag Sharma as the permanent DGP of the state, sources said. Apparently, the central government is believed to have shortlisted three names of IPS officers from a list of five sent by the Telangana government for approval. The three names include that of Anurag Sharma. The other two are Aruna Bahuguna and Durga Prasad.
