Man murders boy as part of human sacrifice in Prakasam dist

Ongole, Sept 30: A gruesome incident took place at Pokuru village close to Voletivaripalem in Prakasam district today. According to police, a 35-year-old man is said to have murdered a five-year-old boy in his attempt to perform "Rudra pooja" in Pokuru village. On coming to know of the incident, villagers had caught hold of the man and thrashed him before handing him over to the police, according to Kandukur circle Inspector M.Lakshman.
