Chandrababu against pursuing personal agendas in legislatives bodies

Visakhapatnam, Sep 29: TDP supremo and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu opined that political parties should not pursue personal agendas in legislative houses. He was speaking at the 17th All-India Whips Conference at Novotel here today. He stressed the need to conduct Assembly and Parliament proceedings in a dignified manner. Stating that India is world's biggest democratic country, Chandrababu expressed concern over the poor attendance of law makers. He suggested that government should regularly organise such conferences. In all 175 representatives from various states participated in the conference. Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu, AP Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao and AP Council chairman Chakrapani were among those who attended the meet.
