Gurram Jashua has special place in the hearts of Telugus: Chandrababu

Vijayawada, Sep 28: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said that noted poet Gurram Jashua holds a special place in the hearts of Telugus. The CM was speaking at the 120th birth anniversary celebrations of Gurram Jashua at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram here today. The CM unveiled a statue of Gurram Jashua at the auditorium on this occasion. Chandrababu said that he could never forget 'Gabbilam' book authored by Gurram Jashua. Preserving mother tongue is noting but safeguarding future, he added. The CM reiterated that TDP is committed for the welfare of the poor. He claimed that the government brought sub-plan for SCs, STs and BCs.
