HC dismisses Errabelli's petition to disqualify turncoat MLAs

Hyderabad, Sep 28: The Hyderabad High Court today dismissed petitions filed seeking disqualification of turncoat MLAs. It may be noted that TDP floor leader in Telangana Assembly Errabelli Dayakar Rao and others filed petitions in High Court seeking disqualification of eight MLAs including Commercial Tax Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav who switched loyalties to TRS. The High Court said that it cannot intervene in the case as the disqualification petitions are pending before the Assembly Speaker. The Court hoped that the Speaker will take a decision on the issue soon. Three TDP MLAs, four Congress MLAs and a YSRCP MLA joined TRS. Errabelli announced that he would move to Supreme Court seeking disqualification of turncoat MLAs.
