Don't pressurise farmers: Prathipati to private financiers
Guntur, Sep 27: Agriculture Minister Prathipati Pulla Rao has asked private financiers (money lenders) not to pressurise farmers for payment of loans.
Prathipati today inaugurated a mega heart check-up camp of Manipal Hospitals at Chilakaluripeta in Guntur district.
The Minister appealed to the farmers not to take their lives. He assured all necessary help to farmers. Chandrababu Naidu is infusing modern technology into agriculture to improve the income of farmers, he added.
Prathipati warned that stringent action would be initiated against those harassing farmers for repayment of loans. He said that credit for successfully implementing crop loan waiver scheme goes to TDP.
