Will fulfil Swachh Bharat dream in 5 years: Chandrababu

Delhi, Sep 23: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu vowed to fulfil Swachh Bharat dream in five years. Chandrababu presided over the NITI Aayog sub-committee meeting on Swachh Bharat in Delhi today. The CM said that he would submit a report on the programme to the Prime Minister within 10 days. Chandrababu said that the sub-committee discussed waste management at length and suggested Centre generate power from garbage. He opined that Centre and states should share expenditure for the programme in the ratio of 75: 25. Chief Ministers of several states participated in the meeting.
