11,735 Anganwadi posts to be filled in AP
Vijayawada, Sep 23: Women and Child Welfare Minister Peethala Sujatha has announced that the state government will soon fill 11,735 Anganwadi posts.
Speaking to the media here today, the Minister said the Anganwadi workers' recruitment process would be carried out in a transparent manner.
Sujatha said that ICDS Project Director's would be held responsible for irregularities in the recruitment process.
She said the District Collectors and district in-charge Ministers will monitor the entire recruitment process.
The Minister warned that government will initiate stern action against all those responsible for any alleged irregularities in the recruitment process.
Anganwadi centres cater to the nutritional needs of pregnant and lactating women and children up to the age of 6 years.
