Chandrababu seeks Singapore's help to make AP a Knowledge Economy

Singapore, Sep 22: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has requested the Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong to extend cooperation to transform the state into a knowledge economy. Chandrababu today called on the Singapore Prime Minister and discussed a wide range of issues including the plans for construction of the upcoming capital city Amaravati. Chandrababu has sought the help of Singapore to develop world-class infrastructure facilities in the state. He said that government was committed to make the state a logistics hub taking advantage of its long coast line. Lee Hsien Loong commended Chandrababu for ensuring that the state stood second in the country in attracting investments. He lauded Chandrababu for pooling 30,000 acres land for construction of capital city within a short span of time.
