High Court reprieve to AP-native TS power staff

Hyderabad, Sep 22: In a huge relief to AP-native employees working TS power utilities, the Hyderabad High Court today issued intermediary orders stating that the relieved power staff belong to Telangana until it delivers the final verdict. The court directed the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments to share the employees wages in ratio of 58: 42 and to release the amount within four weeks. It may be noted that Telangana government has relieved 1,200 AP-native power staff working in TSGenco, TSTransco, TSSPDCL and TSNPDCL three months ago. The employees moved the court challenging the decision of TS power utilities.
