KE Krishnamurthy underplays allegations of corruption in revenue department

Vijayawada, Sept 19: Deputy Chief Minister holding charge of Revenue portfolio KE Krishnamurthy today said that corruption in the revenue department was not as much as it was made out to be. Krishnamurthy was replying to AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's angry observation made yesterday during the collectors' conference in Vijayawada on rampant corruption in the revenue department. While praising the chief minister, Krishnamurthy underplayed the issue of corruption in his department and claimed that it has been providing services that were benefiting the common people.
