CID raids Keshava Reddy educational institutions

Vijayawada, Sep 16: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) officials today carried out raids on Keshava Reddy educational institutions located at several places in the State. According to sources, the CID officials carried out raids on Keshava Reddy school at Chandragiri in Chittoor district, six branches in Tirupati, two branches in Chittoor and three branches in Srikakulam. The officials are verifying records and bank transactions. The CID sleuths also seized computer hard disks. The officials suggested the school staff to take necessary measures to provide quality education to students till the end of the academic year. Accords to reports, the school management defaulted repayment of deposits to parents since 2010. It may be noted that Police recently arrested the group chairman Keshava Reddy for failing to repay the deposits to parents. Further details are awaited.
