Tirupati Ex-MLA's wife commits suicide

Tirupati, Sep 13: Wife of a former MLA allegedly committed suicide at her residence here today. Sukesana (54), wife of former Tirupati MLA Mohan, reportedly hanged herself at her residence this morning. According to family members, Sukesana took the extreme step due to ill-health. The body was shifted to Ruia hospital for autopsy. Mohan was elected as Tirupati MLA on TDP ticket in 1994. Suicides are on the rise in both the Telugu states due to crop failure and other reasons.
