Chandrababu urges Telugu NRIs to donate bricks for capital

Vijayawada, Sep 13: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has asked the Telugu NRIs living across the globe to donate one brick each or its value in money for the construction of capital Amaravati. Chandrababu made this appeal while interacting with farmers of capital region at his camp office in Vijayawada yesterday. The CM said that he wanted the capital to belong to all sections of people. He said that 'Bhoomi Puja' for the capital will be held on October 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi assured all the help for capital city, he added. The CM lauded the farmers for donating 30,000 acres under Land Pooling scheme despite the propaganda by a section of people against capital city construction.
