Emulate Chandrababu, Union Minister tells CMs
Delhi, Sep 13: Union Power Minister Piyush Goyal has asked the Chief Ministers to emulate Chandrababu Naidu's model to prevent power transmission and distribution losses. He conducted a review meet on measures to financially strengthen the power distribution and transmission agencies with Principal Secretaries in Delhi yesterday. AP Energy Secretary Ajay Jain attended the meet on behalf of Andhra Pradesh. He gave a PowerPoint Presentation on steps taken to reduce transmission and distribution losses. Ajay Jain said that AP state government took several measures and brought down power transmission and distribution losses to single digit. Piyush Goyal asked the Chief Ministers to follow Chandrababu Naidu model to minimise power transmission and distribution.
