Keshava Reddy case to be handed over to CID

Kurnool, Sep 11: Andhra Pradesh DGP JV Ramudu has said that the cases registered against educationalist Keshava Reddy would be transferred to Crime Investigation Department (CID). Speaking to the media at Kurnool, DGP JV Ramudu said that he would conduct a meeting with CID officials this evening to discuss the cases filed against Keshava Reddy at various places in the state. Ramudu today conducted a meeting with police officials of Rayalseema districts. The meet discussed cases registered against Keshava Reddy and law and order issues in the region. The DGP claimed that police successfully reduced red sanders smuggling in Seshachalam forests. He presented award and rewards to 25 officials who played a key role in curbing red sanders smuggling. The DGP said that red sanders smuggler Gangi Reddy would deported soon. He exuded confidence that syringe psycho would be nabbed soon.
