Chief Electoral Officer favouring TRS: Marri

Hyderabad, Sep 10: Senior Congress leader and former MLA Marri Shashidhar Reddy has accused the Chief Electoral Officer Bhanwar Lal of favouring ruling TRS party in the state. Speaking to the media here, Marri Shashidhar Reddy alleged that officials were illegally deleting the names of Seemandhra, North Indian and minority people from voters list. Shashidhar Reddy said that Chief Electoral Officer was acting as mute spectator to the irregularities. Marri warned that he would complain against the flagrant violations of norms to Election Commission of India. It may be noted that Congress and TDP leaders accused GHMC Commissioner Somesh Kumar of favouring TRS.
