I will carry out surprise inspections: Chandrababu

Vijayawada, Sep 09: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said that he would carry out surprise inspections in towns and municipalities. He conducted a review meeting with Municipal Commissioners at Gate Way Hotel in Vijayawada today. The Chief Minister directed the Municipal Commissioners to use surprise inspection as a tool to improve the functioning of the officials. He asked the commissioners to complete the first phase of individual toilet construction project by 2016. The CM asked the commissioners by when the cities and towns in state would be made open defecation free. Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana and others were present.
