Godavari water released, to reach Krishna tomorrow

Pattiseema Phase I works completed

Hyderabad, Sept 8: There is good news for farmers in Krishna district and Rayalaseema region. With the completion of the Phase I works related to the Pattiseema river-linking project, officials today released Godavari river water at Janampeta in West Godavari district. The water is expected to flow into the near-dry Krishna river latest by tomorrow. Before the release of the water under the first phase, Government Whip Chintamaneni Prabhakar performed pooja.
