TS to take back employees of merged mandals
Hyderabad, Sept 7: The Telangana government has decided to take back the employees of seven mandals in Khammam districts that were merged with Andhra Pradesh. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has directed the higher officials to create 233 supernumerary posts to induct the employees of the merged mandals in Telangana government. The remaining employees of the mandals will be posted in Telangana in a phase wise manner. The employees heaved a sigh of relief as the Telangana government finally accepted their demand. It may be noted that the seven mandals fall in Polavaram project submergence area and subsequently they were merged with Andhra Pradesh after the bifurcation of the state.
