Pro-Britain, independence supporters put final efforts

Edinburgh, Sep 18 : Both sides in the Scottish referendum campaign have held rallies Wednesday as they make their final efforts to win over undecided voters, BBC reported. Independence supporters attended a mass event in the centre of Glasgow, where they were urged to "vote 'Yes' for a prosperous Scotland". At the same time, pro-Britain campaigners gathered to amass support for "No" vote. The latest polls have suggested the result is too close to call. An Ipsos-MORI survey for broadcaster STV which was published Wednesday put support for "Yes" on 49 percent against 51 percent for "No" when undecided voters were excluded. A Panelbase poll released earlier Wednesday suggested support for independence was on 48 percent, with 52 percent support for Scotland staying in Britain, when undecided voters were excluded.
