Chandrababu pulls up officials over poor sanitation

Visakhapatnam, Sep 06: Chief Minister N Chandrababu today carried out surprise inspections at various places in Visakhapatnam. The CM early in the morning visited Fish Market at RTC Complex in the city and expressed unhappiness over poor sanitary conditions. Later, he inspected drainage canals at Allipuram and pulled up officials for poor maintenance and upkeep of the canals. He also inspected parks in the city. A majority of the towns in coastal region of the state lack underground drainage facilities. Lack of proper drainage network is creating several problems to the city residents. HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, officials and others accompanied the Chief Minister.
