Will fulfill promises made to Telugu states: Venkaiah
New Delhi, Sept 5: Slamming Congress party for adopting double standards on issues related to Andhra Pradesh, Union Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu confirmed that his government will fulfill all the promises made to the two Telugu states at the time of bifurcation.
Speaking to media in New Delhi here today, the minister said the central government has given in-principle approval for the construction of the Dugarajapatnam port.
He said,, "Once the land acquisition process is competed, then we'll begin the construction works immediately."
He also revealed that a survey is being conducted on the proposal to convert the Nellore-Chottoor road into a four-lane one.
