Taking steps to prevent red sanders smuggling: AP DGP

Tirupati, Sept 5: Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police J V Ramudu said his department was taking all measures to prevent the smuggling of red sanders in the state. Interacting with media in Tirupati here this morning, Ramudu said most of the recognised and main smugglers have already been imprisoned. He then revealed that the remaining smugglers would soon be arrested. On the issue of kingpin of red sanders smugglers Gangi Reddy, the DGP said efforts are being made to get him back to India.
