Govt to blacklist students accused in Rishiteswari case
Hyderabad, Sep 03: Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa has said that government will blacklist all the students involved in ragging incident that led to the suicide of ANU B Arch first year student Rishiteswari.
In a statement issued in Assembly yesterday, Chinarajappa said that the guilty students will not be allowed to pursue further studies anywhere. He said action would be taken against ANU Architecture college principal Babu Rao if found guilty.
HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that 172 students were questioned in connection with Rishiteswari's death. The government will take such a severe action on those involved in ragging so that students should not even think of ragging.
