HC raps Mahbubnagar SP

Hyderabad, Aug 31: The Hyderabad High Court today rapped Mahbubnagar SP P Viswa Prasad for attending the court with cap. The High Court summoned the SP in connection with a case related to illegal sand mining in Mahbubnagar district. The judge questioned the SP whether he was not aware of the rule that police officials should not attend the court by wearing cap. The court questioned the SP on the steps initiated to curb illegal sand mining in the district. The SP informed court that cases were filed on 12 persons for illegal sand mining and four persons were arrested. The court adjourned the case for two weeks. The official was asked to learn court etiquette rules.
