Chandrababu responsible for Rajahmundry stampede: Jagan

Hyderabad, Aug 31: Leader of Opposition YS Jaganmohan Reddy blamed Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for Rajahmundry stampede incident in which 29 persons were killed. Speaking at the Assembly here, Jagan said that Chandrababu offered puja at the main ghat instead of VIP ghat for the sake of publicity. He expressed deep condolences to the families of stampede victims. Jagan said that government should accept responsibility for the stampede. He said that Chandrababu's statement did not reflect the true facts. The Assembly passed a condolence resolution on the death 29 devotees in stampede during Godavari Pushkaralu in Rajahmundry. YSRCP and TDP leaders traded charges over the issue
