Manda Krishna threatens to stop capital construction

Hyderabad, Aug 30: Severe injustice is being meted out to dalits in the capital region and we would not hesitate to stop capital construction if the same situation persists, said Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) founder Manda Krishna. In a press release issued here today, Manda Krishna said that he would stage a deeksha on September 13 to protest against the alleged injustice to dalits in the capital region. Manda Krishna alleged that government acquired 90 per cent more land than what was required for the capital city. He said that government was trying to acquire the lands of dalits in order to allocate them to rich.
