Paritala Ravi's birth anniversary celebrated on a grand note

Anantapur, Aug 30: Glowing tributes were paid to slain Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader and former Minister Paritala Ravindra on the occasion of his 57th birth anniversary. Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha and her son Paritala Sriram offered floral tributes at Paritala Ravi Ghat (Samadhi) at Venkatapuram village of Ramagiri mandal in the district and paid tributes. Labour Minister Atchennaidu and IT Minister Palle Raghunadha Reddy and others were present. A large number of Ravi's followers turned up at the village. Later, Annadanam (mass feeding) was organised. The leaders recalled Ravi's selfless services for the uplift of the poor. It may be noted that Sunitha is the widow of Paritala Ravi.
