Rodent attack case: Doctors, nurses protest at Guntur Govt hospital

Guntur, Aug 29: Doctors and nurses today staged their dharna in protest against the sudden transfer of Dr Bhaskar Rao and suspension of two nurses. The government had taken action against the three following a preliminary report that found fault with them after a baby died due to a rodent attack in the Guntur General Hospital. The medical fraternity demanded the state government should react in a compassionate manner in the case.
