AP mulling law to confiscate illegal assets of corrupt persons

Vijayawada, Aug 29: Andhra Pradesh government is considering to bring in a law that would help it to confiscate illegal assets of corrupt persons, according to sources. AP minister are discussing this issue during the ongoing AP cabinet meeting under the chairmanship of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at his camp office in Vijayawada today. Some of the other issues that are to be discussed during the cabinet meeting include outcome of CM's New Delhi visit, monsoon woes and regularisation of assigned lands. The cabinet meeting is also expected to discuss strategies for the monsoon session of the legislative assembly that is scheduled to begin on August 31 in Hyderabad.
