Chandrababu is against land acquisition: Narayana

Vijayawada, Aug 28: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is against the use of Land Acquisition Act to collect land for capital, said Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana. Speaking to the media here, Narayana admitted that government was going slow on land acquisition. "I issued Land Acquisition notification to expedite the process as land pooling deadline is coming near," he said. The Chief Minister opposes land acquisition and he wants to collect land under land pooling system. As per the suggestions of Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, government will negotiate with the farmers and make them accept to give land under land pooling, he said He said that 'Grama Kantam' (village habitations) issues would be resolved by Monday.
