Abhayam app to curb ragging
Hyderabad, August 26: Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) JV Ramudu introduced a new app to protect peace and security in the State. This app, according to him, will be most useful to women. Ramudu launched 'Abhayam applications'. Victims can send their complaints to this apps. Furthermore, victims can press 'panic' button when they are not in a position to talk. Immediately information about the incident will reach the nearest police station. Ramudu said they will put a check for ragging with this app. Women and girl students could be provided total security with this new app, he added. The DGP suggested the officials to provide awareness among the people about Abhayam applications.
