Sanjay Dutt granted 30-day parole

Hyderabad, August 26: Bollywood actor and convicted in Mumbai bomb blast Sanjay Dutt today was granted 30-day parole. The actor applied for parole in June citing a nose surgery to be done to his daughter. Pune Divisional Commissioner sanctioned parole for the actor two days ago. Sanjay will be home within two or three days as he has to complete the formalities including surety. His parole can be extended for another 60 days. The 55-year-old actor has been out of jail for 146 days since he was sentenced in May, 2013. He was granted furlough of 28 days in October 2013, parole for 30 days in January 2014, which was extended for 60 days and again granted furlough of 14 days in December 2014.
