Viral fevers: Jagan protests against govt apathy

Machilipatnam (Krishna), Aug 25: YSRCP chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy today staged a dharna at Machilipatnam in protest against government's apathy towards viral fewer victims. Jagan alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has not responded though 18 people died due to viral fevers at Kotha Majeru village in the district. He said that even Health Minister has not consoled the victims kin. In order to deny compensation, a section of politicians were saying that the victims died due to natural reasons, he added. "After I toured the village, Health Minister visited the village and it indicates callousness of government," he added.
