Jaitley assures all the help to AP, evades questions on special status

Delhi, Aug 25: Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has assured all the necessary help to Andhra Pradesh. He along with AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu addressed the media after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Jaitley said Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to implement all the provisions of AP State Reorganisation Act. He said that PM directed NITI AYOG CEO Arvind Panagariya to prepare a roadmap to provide financial assistance to AP. Arun Jaitley evaded questions related to special status to AP. Chandrababu Naidu too left stating that he would conduct a separate press meet in evening. Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, senior IAS officer PV Ramesh were among those who met the Prime Minister.
