Chandrababu meets Modi

Delhi, Aug 25: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today met Prime Minister Narendra Modi here. They reportedly discussed special status, special package, implementation of provisions of AP State Reorganisation Act, Polavaram Project, financial assistance and other issues. Earlier, Chandrababu met Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu and Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Chandrababu asked Rajnath Singh to take measures for implementation of provisions of the Reorganisation Act The meeting assumed significance as it would have bearing on future of the state. It may be noted that Opposition parties are mounting pressure on the government over speical status issue.
