5,600 kg laddu for Khairatabad Ganesha
Tapeswaram (East Godavari), Aug 25: Suruchi Foods, Tapeswaram, will offer a laddu weighing 5,600 kg to Khairatabad Ganesha in Hyderabad.
Suruchi Foods managing director Mallibabu said that they were offering 'Maha Laddus' to the lord since 2000.
Mallibabu and 16 others will take Ganesh Deeksha on September 9 and start the laddu preparation on September 12. The laddu preparation would be completed by September 14.
The laddu will be handed over to Khairatabad pandal organisers in the presence of Governor ESL Narasimhan and Ministers on September 17.
The ingredients used in the laddu include 380 kg of cashew nuts, 100 kg badam, 11 kg yellow camphor,
33 kg cardamom, 1,565 kg Bengal gram, 1,100 kg ghee and 2,425 kg sugar.
No preservatives are used and the laddu will stay fresh for six months.
