AP needs special package, special status: Parakala

Ongole (Prakasam), Aug 23: Andhra Pradesh needs special status and special package and the Centre should help the state liberally, said Parakala Prabhakar, Communications Advisor to AP government. Speaking to media at Ongole, Parakala said that Congress passed the AP State Reorganisation Bill without including provisions on special status and now trying to shift on the blame to Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. Parakala asked the Union government to fulfil all its assurances. He hoped that the outcome of meeting between Chandrababu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 25, will make the people happy. He flayed opposition parties for criticising government on special status.
