Dilemma over acquisition of village habitations in AP capital

Hyderabad, August 22: Notifications for land acquirement in five villages in the first phase have been issued, said AP Municipal Minister Narayana. The next notifications of land acquirement will be issued phase-wise. He said they will request the farmers to voluntarily give up their agricultural lands. The Opposition parties are unnecessarily politicising the land acquisition issue, he said. Narayana said there is no question of removing village habitations in the process of land acquisition. Meanwhile, the AP State government decided to issue notification for land acquisition only after identifying and finalising the village habitations in the villages within the capital city area. Notifications for land acquisition in Koragallu, Navuluru-1, Navuluru-2 and Krishnayapalem were issued so far.
